即興演奏と朗読「渇いた鴉」 2月11日（土）
それ自体が物語であり、詩であり、無言の書であるが、詰まる所はやはり絵であるというものが存在しうるのか判らない。それが終に目指しているものなのかどうかも判らない。だが、かつてヨーロッパで一斉風靡したエンブレムに、遠く心地よい手応えを感じて、ここ暫く鍾愛してきた。言葉と図像の幸福な婚姻― 私の作品はそれらから時代も場所も離れて、今だ不明の最中、独り遠い所にいるけれど、あやかって本展をエンブレマータと題した。絵札のような作品２３点を展示するとともに、制作中の戯れに書き散らした小文を、会期中の2月11日(土)、渡邊ゆりひと氏、山崎慎一郎氏の演奏と共に朗読。また、２月４日（土）は、PARADAオーナー・中林隆氏のインタビューによる、アーティストトークを行った。

Something which is itself story, poetry, a mute book and also a picture in the end. I'm not sure yet that such a thing exists. I'm not sure yet that is where my art is going to be in the future. However, I've been feeling some other good inspiration inside emblems which previously dominated the publishing world in Europe. I've been loving this kind of art in these years. The successful marriage between words and iconography ---- although my works are far both from their place and their age, and are still alone in the dim light, I give the title "Enblemata" to this show, as a kind of homage to them. I showed 23 works some of which look like picture cards. I read my own texts that were written during making those works, with performance by Yurihito Watanabe(chant) and Shinichiro Yamazaki(guitar) on February 11. Also, I was interviewed by Ryu Nakabayashi, Parada owner and talked of my own work and its background on February 4.
