I was invited to the gourp show "Nue no Tora" which was held  in LIBRAIRIE6, Ebisu, Tokyo. The theme of this show is tiger or Japanese legendary monster "Nue" which has the torso of a tiger.

恵比寿LIBRARIE6で開催されるグループショウ「ぬえの寅」に参加いたしました。この展覧会は、虎、あるいは虎の身体を持つ想像上の怪物「鵺」をテーマにしたグループ展です。

「ぬえの虎」とは、「平家物語」などに登場し、サルの顔、タヌキの胴体、トラの手足を持ち、尾はヘビ。また、「源平盛衰記」では背が虎で足がタヌキ、尾は キツネになっている。さらに頭がネコで胴はニワトリと書かれた資料もある。描写される姿形は、北東の寅（虎）、南東の巳（蛇）、南西の申（猿）、北西の乾 （犬とイノシシ）といった干支を表す獣の合成という考えもある。このように日本で伝承される物の怪「鵺（ぬえ）」の一部として描かれている「虎」部分に焦 点を当てた13作家による新作及び旧作展示です。（プレスリリースより）
